We are looking for a Catering & Community Outreach Manager!
Tomasino’s Pizza is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and self-motivated Catering & Community Outreach Manager to help grow our catering sales throughout the community. This role combines outside sales, relationship building, local marketing, catering coordination, and delivery support.
The ideal candidate enjoys meeting new people, building business relationships, and representing the Tomasino’s brand in the community. This person will actively seek new catering opportunities, develop partnerships with local businesses, schools, medical offices, churches, and organizations, and help create memorable experiences that generate repeat catering business.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct outbound sales calls to local businesses, schools, churches, medical offices, apartment communities, and organizations to generate catering opportunities.
- Prospect 4 days per week by phone and in person.
- Build and maintain a database of decision makers, including office managers, HR directors, administrators, and business owners.
- Visit targeted businesses weekly to introduce Tomasino’s catering services.
- Deliver complimentary food samples to prospective catering clients.
- Collect business cards and contact information to build long-term relationships.
- Follow up with prospects through calls, emails, and in-person visits.
- Coordinate catering orders from inquiry through delivery.
- Confirm catering details including guest counts, delivery times, setup requirements, and special requests.
- Deliver catering orders when needed and ensure excellent customer service.
- Develop relationships that result in recurring catering accounts.
- Attend local networking events, chamber functions, community events, and business expos.
- Generate leads for school events, sports teams, churches, corporate meetings, employee appreciation events, and fundraisers.
- Track sales activity and maintain accurate records in company CRM or database.
- Meet weekly goals for new contacts, appointments, catering quotes, and booked events.
- Work closely with store management to ensure flawless execution of catering orders.
PERFORMANCE METRICS
- Number of new business contacts added weekly.
- Number of sample drops completed weekly.
- Number of outbound calls completed weekly.
- Number of catering quotes generated.
- Catering sales revenue generated.
- Number of repeat catering customers.
- New corporate accounts established.
COMPENSATION
Base Pay: $17 per hour PLUS
- Catering sales commission
- Mileage reimbursement (if applicable)
- Performance bonuses for catering sales growth
