A growing food and beverage company is seeking an analytical chemist to support quality control and analytical testing initiatives. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment with strong opportunities for professional growth and increasing project responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and test ingredient samples
- Maintain complete, accurate, and legible test records in accordance with company policy and record keeping procedures
- Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks for the laboratory environment and testing equipment
- Assist with minor laboratory equipment troubleshooting and routine maintenance
- Support customer pre-shipment sample requests by obtaining, packaging, and shipping samples through the sample order database
Qualifications:
- BS in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related science
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
