Job Overview
We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeping Staff to maintain the cleanliness of our facility.
We are currently hiring for two positions- One position is Monday-Friday, 7:00pm-11:00pm ( 20 hours a week), one position is Saturday and Sunday 3:00pm-5:00 pm (10 hours per week).
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
- Handle laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and uniforms efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines and safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment.
- Manage chemical agent handling with care, ensuring proper storage, usage, and disposal in compliance with health regulations.
- Utilize janitorial equipment effectively while practicing safe lifting techniques during heavy lifting or manual handling activities.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules.
Skills
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and chemical handling procedures for healthcare environments.
- Prefer experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within healthcare or commercial settings.
- Skilled in laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices; capable of manual handling tasks over extended periods.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff members and visitors when needed.
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence.
