We're looking for a full-time Dental Assistant who is dependable, energetic, and enjoys being part of a great team!
Chesaning Family Dental is an established private family practice in Chesaning. We have a wonderful team, an amazing Doctor, and a practice that truly puts our patients and our team first. We're looking for someone who wants to find a long-term home and enjoys working in a friendly, supportive office.
As a Dental Assistant, you'll work closely with the Doctor and team to help provide a great experience for our patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials

Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit

Assisting the Doctor with procedures, including set-ups, suction, and passing instruments

Taking and documenting intraoral photographs

Thoroughly charting treatment and patient information

Pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts
-
Fabricating temporary restorations
-
Cleaning and polishing removable appliances
-
Sterilizing instruments and maintaining clean treatment rooms

Following OSHA and infection control guidelines

Answering patient questions and helping them feel informed and comfortable

Pitching in wherever needed and being a positive part of the team
We're looking for someone who is:

A certified or experienced Dental Assistant

Current in CPR certification

Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

Comfortable working in a busy dental office

Friendly and personable with patients

A team player with a positive attitude

Available to work our Monday–Thursday schedule

Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: No Fridays at this time, but this could change in the future

$18–$25/hour, based on experience and skill level
