What We're Looking For:
We are seeking candidates with relevant experience. CPI Certified Inspectors with experience in the trades, construction, or inspection industries. Prior experience is required — we're not looking to train from scratch, we're looking to grow with professionals who already know the work.
Preferred background and skills:
CPI (Certified Professional Inspector)
Construction or skilled trades experience
Electrical knowledge
Plumbing and HVAC familiarity
Roofing and structural understanding
Strong attention to detail
Clear customer communication

Duties
- Perform comprehensive inspections of residential and commercial properties to evaluate structural integrity, safety hazards, water damage, mold presence, and overall condition.
- Utilize specialized tools and software to document findings accurately and generate detailed inspection reports.
- Conduct risk analysis to identify potential issues related to property fraud, water damage restoration needs, or mold remediation requirements.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and insurance adjusters to communicate inspection results clearly and recommend appropriate actions.
- Apply knowledge of construction inspection standards and building codes to ensure compliance during assessments.
- Assist in fraud prevention by verifying property documentation and identifying suspicious activities or discrepancies.
- Support risk management efforts by analyzing potential vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies for property owners. Experience
- Proven experience in construction inspection or property assessment roles with a focus on residential and commercial buildings.
- Familiarity with water damage restoration processes and mold remediation techniques.
- Strong understanding of fraud prevention methods within property transactions or insurance claims.
- Proficiency in using financial software for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Knowledge of risk analysis, risk management practices, and underwriting principles related to property inspections.
- Prior experience working with insurance companies or in environments requiring detailed risk evaluation is highly desirable.
- Current or prior CPI certification
