The ambulatory clinical specialist I will provide specialized care for patients by reviewing medication regimens and pharmaceutical needs for patients in a clinical setting. The specialist will serve as a clinical resource to health care providers and enhance the pharmacy department’s professional and clinical services.
Estimated salary range for this position is $122475.25 - $159217.83 / year depending on experience.
Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD). Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) required in area of specialty practice and/or Certified Specialty Pharmacy (CSP) credential. State of Florida Pharmacist License. Basic Life Support (BLS). If no BPS or CSP credential at time of hire, then PGY2 pharmacy residency and achievement of BPS or CSP within 6 months of hire is required. If no residency training, must have > 5 years of practice experience in area of specialty and BPS in area of specialty practice and/or CSP required. PGY1 residency with 2 years practice experience in area of specialty and BPS and/or CSP required. (PGY1 = 3 years of experience & PGY2 = 2 additional years). Florida Consultant Licensure within 3 months of hire. Immunization certificate within 6 months of hire. Knowledge of Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other graphics or presentation software.
