Summary
We are seeking a Senior CNC Programmer to join our team at Compucraft Industries. In this role, you will create CNC Programs using SolidWorks CAM, customer supplied drawings, models, and specifications. You will work closely with our engineering team. Your experience in manufacturing, particularly aerospace manufacturing is crucial to your success.
Responsibilities
- Review customer supplied drawings, models, and specifications to create CNC programs.
- Create setup sheets and tools lists for machinists.
- Coordinate with Engineering/Planning on process steps.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices within the manufacturing areas.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of CNC Programming.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of CAM programs. (SolidWorks CAM, SurfCam, Catia, etc.)
- Familiarity with Job Boss or similar MRP software is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge is a must.
