In this role, you'll become an essential resource for students, educators, and families, promoting emotional health and academic success. The contract will span from August 12, 2026, through June 2, 2027, and requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Active Michigan School Psychologist license (verification required)
- Previous experience in a K-12 setting is highly valued
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, resourceful, and adaptable in a dynamic school environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students across grade levels
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement effective interventions
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and offer guidance for student supports
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere
