Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Supervise all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Oversee staff training and development, including onboarding new team members and conducting ongoing skill enhancement to uphold food safety standards.
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth shift management and excellent customer service experiences.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Lead by example in supervising staff performance, conducting interviews for new hires, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Proven ability in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to maximize profitability.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and development within hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Deep understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Background in managing diverse teams across casual dining or fine dining environments with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as shift management, catering coordination, banquet operations, or hotel food service experience.
