Awareness:
The job holder is aware of the quality policy, the relevant quality objectives, their contribution to the effectiveness of the quality management system, including the benefits of improved performance and the implications of not conforming with the quality management system requirements. Furthermore, the jobholder is aware of his/her impact on product quality and the importance of his/her activities in achieving, maintaining and improving quality, including customer requirements and the risks involved for the customer with non-conforming products.
