American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a night shift position at an adult Level III Trauma hospital serving the Emergency Department and Special Care Nursery.

Work in an adult Level III Trauma hospital with 120 staffed beds
-
Serves patients in the Emergency Department and Special Care Nursery

Charting is done in Epic
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00

Every 3rd weekend is required
-
No on-call requirement
-
No floating required
-
Block scheduling is at manager's discretion

Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
-
Minimum 1 year of experience as an RRT
-
Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
-
State license required if applicable
-
Prior travel assignment required — first-time travelers will not be considered

Must be able to shave facial hair to achieve a proper N95 mask seal for fit testing — no exceptions

Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in the Emergency Department and Special Care Nursery

PICU/NICU experience is not required, but NRP and PALS are required to demonstrate ability to manage emergency situations

CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided, and personal CAPRs/PAPRs are not permitted on-site — failure to pass fit testing due to facial hair will result in cancellation

Travelers may be required to participate in holiday and weekend rotations
