What you’ll do
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to create inviting spaces.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping management team to prioritize tasks and maintain an efficient workflow.
- Utilize industrial cleaning equipment and janitorial supplies safely and effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries regarding housekeeping services.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or similar hospitality settings.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and equipment usage.
- Previous experience in housekeeping management is a plus.
