Position Overview
We are hiring a Washington 01 Journeyman Electrician for residential service and remodel work.
Because Arcline Electric is in an early growth stage, this is currently a W2 variable-hour position. Hours will depend on booked jobs, estimates, service calls, approved training, and company workload. There is no guaranteed minimum number of weekly hours at this stage.
As call volume and project volume increase, this role has the potential to grow into a consistent full-time position with expanded responsibility, leadership opportunity, and long-term compensation growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential electrical service work
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Install and repair outlets, switches, breakers, lighting, circuits, and devices
- Perform EV charger installations and EV-ready circuit work
- Support panel upgrades, service upgrades, subpanels, and related work
- Perform remodel electrical work, rough-in, trim-out, and finish work
- Follow NEC, Washington electrical code, and company quality standards
- Communicate clearly with customers and office staff
- Provide accurate job notes, photos, and material usage
- Help prepare estimates when assigned
- Maintain a clean, professional jobsite
- Represent the company professionally in customers’ homes
- Coordinate with ownership, dispatch, inspectors, and other trades when needed
Ideal Candidate
- Licensed as a Washington 01 electrician
- Reliable and professional
- Strong with residential troubleshooting

- Able to explain options clearly without pressuring customers
- Capable of working independently

- Honest with time, materials, communication, and job status

Requirements
- Active Washington 01 Journeyman Electrician license
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Residential service or remodel experience
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work safely and professionally in occupied homes
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and office staff
- Ability to document work with notes and photos
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Experience with the following is a plus:
- Residential service calls
- Panel upgrades
- Service upgrades
- EV charger installations
- Remodel rough-in and trim-out
- Generator interlocks and inlet installs
- Lighting upgrades
- Customer-facing service work
- Estimating small residential jobs
- Housecall Pro or similar field service software

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
