Weekend Field Manager
Location: Nashville, TN 37211
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Full-Time Weekend Field Manager to lead all weekend field operations while supporting key production management functions. This role is critical to ensuring accurate service delivery, high-quality field execution, efficient production workflows, and excellent customer service throughout the weekend operational cycle.
Reporting directly to the Project Coordinator, the Weekend Field Manager oversees field technicians, placers, and auditors while coordinating production readiness, quality control, inventory, and operational reporting. This position plays an essential role in ensuring signage is produced accurately, field operations run smoothly, and customer expectations are consistently met.
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Work Schedule: Thursday through Monday
Days Off: Every Tuesday and Wednesday
Weekend Availability: Required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Weekend Field Operations
- Lead all weekend field operations to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
- Oversee staffing, deployment, route execution, and field technician activities.
- Confirm accurate sign placement and timely pickup across all assigned routes.
- Review and submit placement and pickup photos for quality assurance.
- Conduct pre-route audits and verify new route launches.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety procedures, and placement guidelines.
- Maintain accurate weekend sign count reports and operational documentation.
Production Coordination
- Manage weekend production workflows and assist with weekday production planning.
- Coordinate production schedules to ensure signage and print work are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor production readiness, material preparation, and job completion status.
- Perform quality control inspections to minimize production errors and rework.
- Identify production delays, equipment issues, or material shortages and communicate them proactively.
- Coordinate production handoffs to ensure work is ready for field execution.
- Support the Project Coordinator in maintaining efficient production workflow and meeting operational deadlines.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train placers, auditors, and field technicians.
- Provide daily direction, coaching, and accountability to weekend field staff.
- Monitor employee performance and reinforce quality, productivity, and safety standards.
- Ensure team members have the equipment, materials, and information needed to perform successfully.
- Address performance concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
Inventory & Equipment Management
- Oversee sign inventory, rider swaps, design updates, and production materials.
- Ensure printers, production equipment, tools, and field equipment are organized, maintained, and in proper working condition.
- Track stake losses and maintain accurate loss maps.
- Perform ongoing quality control checks on production output and field installations.
Route & Customer Management
- Review, update, and validate route maps.
- Verify placement and pickup accuracy across all active routes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for weekend customer service inquiries.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinate unresolved issues with weekday operations when necessary.
- Canvas prospective customers within designated service areas as needed.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Submit accurate reports on production status, weekend operations, staffing, inventory, and field performance.
- Report equipment concerns, staffing needs, production issues, and operational challenges to the Project Coordinator.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and weekday management teams to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications:
- Previous leadership experience in field operations, logistics, production, route-based services, or a related industry preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience recruiting, training, coaching, and developing employees.
- Comfortable working both in the field and supporting production operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management, quality control, reporting tools, and map-based systems is preferred.
- Proficient with digital documentation and Microsoft Office or similar software.
- Reliable transportation is required.
