Title: Senior Accountant/Cash Accountant
Reports to: Controller
Location: Central Florida
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant / Cash Accountant to oversee daily cash management activities and ensure the accuracy of bank transactions and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring multiple bank accounts, processing payments, performing timely bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate cash records to support the organization’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor and manage multiple bank accounts on a daily basis.
· Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding discrepancies promptly.
· Review and monitor daily bank transactions, including deposits, wire transfers, ACH payments, and other cash activities.
· Prepare and process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other treasury-related transactions.
· Prepare and post journal entries related to cash transactions, bank fees, intercompany transfers, accruals, and other general ledger activities.
· Ensure all cash transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
· Coordinate with banks regarding transaction inquiries, account maintenance, and banking services.
· Investigate and resolve banking issues, unreconciled items, and payment discrepancies.
· Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to cash and bank accounts.
· Prepare reports related to cash balances, banking activities, and treasury operations for management review.
· Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure smooth cash operations.
Job Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 3+ years of accounting or treasury experience
· Knowledge of basic accounting principles
· Basic Excel spreadsheet skills required
· Proficiency in accounting software including GL, A/P, Fixed Assets, and purchasing/inventory modules preferred
· Experience with DDI system a plus
· Working knowledge of Word and Outlook
· Extremely detail oriented
· Excellent written, verbal and organization skills required
· Self-starter
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
· Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Maintain solid working relationship with other departments
· Flexibility to work mandatory overtime to meet business needs.
· Bilingual – Mandarin or Cantonese a plus
