Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director of Assisted Living to lead and manage our senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and support for residents. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and fostering a compassionate environment that promotes residents’ well-being and independence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in long-term care or assisted living settings, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors. Duties
- Provide strategic leadership and oversee all aspects of assisted living facility operations, including resident care, staff management, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to individual residents’ needs, including those requiring Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and memory support.
- Supervise and mentor management teams, ensuring effective team collaboration in delivering high-quality senior care services.
- Ensure adherence to long-term care regulations, health policies, and safety standards across all facility activities.
- Oversee healthcare financial management, including budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to sustain operational efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to medication administration, resident records, incident reports, and compliance audits.
- Foster a positive community environment by engaging with residents’ families and coordinating disability services or home & community care programs as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in nursing home administration or assisted living management with a strong background in senior care and long-term care regulations.
- Extensive knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia support strategies, and memory care best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams within healthcare or residential care settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Strong understanding of healthcare financial management, budgeting, and operational oversight.
- Familiarity with disability services experience and managing care facility teams in compliance with health regulation policies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, residents’ families, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies.
