Position:
Khosroabadi & Hill, APC is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in family law and be comfortable managing case responsibilities, supporting attorneys, and helping ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our legal practice.
This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys, clients, and support staff to provide high-quality legal support and contribute to the overall success of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management from intake through resolution
- Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents, pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation
- Manage case files, deadlines, and court-related requirements
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties
- Assist attorneys with preparation for hearings, mediations, and trials
- Draft and review legal documents with strong attention to detail
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of case-related tasks
- Support attorneys and contribute to improving firm processes and workflows
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience required
- Experience in family law preferred
- Strong understanding of legal procedures, deadlines, and case management
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member
- Strong judgment, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information
- Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite

Paralegal / Skills
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system
- Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office

Paralegal Requirements:
Either of the following:
(1) A certificate of completion of a paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association.
(2) A certificate of completion of a paralegal program at, or a degree from, a postsecondary institution that requires the successful completion of a minimum of 24 semester, or equivalent, units in law-related courses and that has been accredited by a national or regional accrediting organization or approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education.
(3) A baccalaureate degree or an advanced degree in any subject, a minimum of one year of law-related experience under the supervision of an attorney who has been an active member of the State Bar of California for at least the preceding three years or who has practiced in the federal courts of this state for at least the preceding three years, and a written declaration from this attorney stating that the person is qualified to perform paralegal tasks.
(4) A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma, a minimum of three years of law-related experience under the supervision of an attorney who has been an active member of the State Bar of California for at least the preceding three years or who has practiced in the federal courts of this state for at least the preceding three years, and a written declaration from this attorney stating that the person is qualified to perform paralegal tasks. This experience and training shall be completed no later than December 31, 2003.
