Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and specifications
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with food handling and safety standards
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings to enhance customer options
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
- Support food presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes that meet quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service during busy hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments, especially with pizza or similar cuisine
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and food industry standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
