POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for assisting with the coordination of the administrative functions of Perimeter Security Group. Experience in compliance documentation is required. Multi-State experience will be extremely beneficial. Payroll Experience would be a plus!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
· Responsible for new hire documentation, onboarding, background screening, orientation and onboarding.
· Maintenance of employee records.
· Facilitate recruiting activities - job postings, sourcing, applicant tracking, resume review, and interview scheduling.
· Manage employee benefits and enrollment progress.
· Update and maintain employee handbook, policies and procedures.
· Assist with project specific labor compliance – union apprentices, etc.
· Process unemployment insurance claims, benefit audits, garnishments, and other various employee related documentation.
· Market area research for job-site specific locations.
· Assist Contract Admin department with various compliance reporting.
· Assist Payroll department with Fringe Benefit reporting. Union Payroll/certified payroll experience would be an asset.
· Assist with Union Audits, special projects or any other duties assigned.
· Provide back-up support for safety related responsibilities.
· Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all facets of the position
· Assist with research in new areas of work – taxes, payroll laws, licensing, etc.
· Backup for all incoming phone calls.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
· Understand and support HR programs and policies. Communicate basic information to employees.
· Knowledge of state and federal wage and employment laws in Idaho, California, Montana, Washington, Texas, Arizona, Oregon and Nevada.
· Knowledge of prevailing wage and union collective bargaining agreements in relation to employment standards.
· Flexible and willing to take on new tasks and duties.
· Exhibit excellent work ethic and strong written/verbal communication skills.
· Attention to detail and follow through.
· Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
· Maintain accuracy while working under pressure with time-sensitive deadlines.
· Must possess strong organizational abilities
· Must possess strong computer skills and effectively use the internet.
· Ability to work individually and within the team.
· Minimum of 2 years HR/compliance experience
· Minimum of 1 year Union experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
