Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Preschool Aide to join our vibrant early childhood education team! Duties
- Support preschool teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson implementation, and classroom management assistance
- Assist in preparing educational materials, projects, and snacks
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, meals, naps, and transitions, ensuring safety and positive behavior management
- Engage children in age-appropriate play, socialization, and learning activities that promote cognitive and emotional growth
- Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and learning spaces to ensure a safe environment
- Support children with self-help skills (bathroom use, handwashing, etc.)
- Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations
Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, camp, coaching, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and other educational professionals
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus
