Duties
- Greet clients warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their salon experience
- Assist senior stylists with hair cutting, styling, coloring, and hair extension applications
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Stay informed on current hair trends, color theory, and new techniques to enhance service quality
- Participate in mentoring sessions to develop technical skills
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license or actively enrolled in a recognized program (apprenticeship welcome)
- Passionate about the beauty industry with a desire to learn diverse skills such as hair styling, coloring, and retail sales
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in all services performed
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment is preferred but not mandatory—enthusiasm is key!
- Willingness to learn new techniques including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application
