What You’ll Bring:
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and progressive construction leadership experience in lieu of a degree. 10+ years of experience in construction management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple concurrent projects. 3+ years managing projects in the DOE, NNSA, or federal government space. Hands-on field experience leading construction teams on government projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, and project management principles. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large, geographically distributed teams. Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management. Must either already have or meet all requirements to secure a clearance with DOD and DOE within 12 months of hire.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience managing projects at DOE national laboratories or NNSA production facilities (e.g., Savannah River Site, Pantex, Y-12, LANL). Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar tools. Experience with Design-Build project delivery on federal contracts.
