A Social Worker will be providing therapeutic services directly to students by developing functional goals, tracking student's progress, and communicating with parents. A Social Worker is responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Provide comprehensive services for students with disabilities
- Develop and implement screening procedures following rules, regulations, and procedures to identify students who need corrective instruction.
- Use observation, conferences with staff and various assessment techniques to make evaluations.
- Plan and deliver treatment for students with deficiencies in individual and small group settings.
• Provide regular evaluation of students to determine effectiveness of services. • Accurately produce all records and reports as required by law and regulation or by school.
- Maintain positive, cooperative, and mutually supportive relationships with administration, instructional staff, students and parents with the school and community.
- Adhere to the New York State rules and regulations, school’s policies and procedures and contractual obligations. Skills:

3-5 years’ experience in field preferred
