Pharmacist – Retail Setting | Florida
Pay: Up to $58/hr (Negotiable)
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist for a retail pharmacy setting in Florida. This is an excellent contract opportunity for a professional who is passionate about patient care and medication management.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, interactions, and contraindications.
- Counsel patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and proper storage.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support inventory management and medication safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Current and active Florida Pharmacist License
- Current BLS Certification
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay up to $58/hr (Negotiable based on experience)
- 40 hours per week
