Position Overview
Covered USA is seeking a Florida-licensed insurance sales professional to provide insurance consultation and sales services.
The agent will initially work from our Deerfield Beach office while completing onboarding, systems setup, carrier training, and compliance orientation. After successfully completing the initial onboarding period, the agent may choose to continue working from the office or perform services remotely.
Compensation
- $20 per hour
- Additional commissions on eligible and issued insurance sales
- Performance-based incentives and spiffs
- Weekly payments
- Compensation is reported on Form 1099
Products
- Home health care supplemental insurance
- Hospital indemnity insurance
- Final Expense life insurance
Services and Responsibilities
- Respond to company-provided inbound insurance inquiries
- Discuss prospective customers’ needs and existing coverage
- Explain approved insurance products accurately
- Assist customers with completing insurance applications
- Maintain clear and complete CRM records
- Follow applicable insurance laws and carrier requirements
- Use required disclosures and approved compliance materials
- Protect confidential customer and health information
- Complete reasonable customer follow-up
Leads
- Inbound customer leads
- No required cold calling
- Initial in-office onboarding
- Optional office workspace following onboarding
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Florida 2-15, 2-40 or other applicable health insurance license
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Basic computer and CRM proficiency
- Ability to accurately explain insurance products
- Ability to comply with insurance and privacy requirements
- Reliable attendance
Preferred:
- Medicare or senior-market experience
- Insurance call-center experience
- Supplemental health insurance experience
- Final Expense sales experience
Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
