Accounts Receivable Analyst / Consultant
A great UHY client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst / Consultant to support high-volume cash application and reconciliation activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will focus on resolving outstanding receivables, improving cash application processes, and partnering with internal teams to drive efficiency while serving as a hands-on contributor to strengthening AR operations.
The Accounts Receivable Analyst / Consultant role is a fully onsite position based in Farmington Hills. MI. This is a contract opportunity with strong potential for permanent conversion, offering the chance to make an immediate impact and help improve processes within a dynamic and evolving organization.
Accounts Receivable Analyst / Consultant Responsibilities
- Process high-volume cash receipts and apply payments accurately
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Investigate past-due balances and partner with customers to drive collections
- Analyze AR aging and identify root causes of payment delays
- Support process improvements related to cash application and collections procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues
- Utilize Excel to track, analyze, and report on AR activity
- Assist in stabilizing and improving overall accounts receivable operations
Accounts Receivable Analyst / Consultant Requirements
- Strong accounts receivable experience with a focus on cash applications
- Experience handling high-volume transactions and reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience within manufacturing or automotive industry preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
