American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and proficiency with advanced cardiac support devices including IABPs and Impellas.

Hospital-based Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) setting
-
Rotating Day (0645-1915) and Night (1845-0715) shifts, 3x12-hour shifts
-
Cares for postoperative cardiac surgery patients including CABG and valve procedures
-
Proficiency with CRRT/CVVHD, hemodynamic monitoring, IABPs, and Impellas required
-
Travelers may float to any Adult ICU or Telemetry unit if CVICU census is low
-
Every 3rd weekend required (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
-
1 holiday shift required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Epic EMR used
-
Active PA RN license or Compact RN license required
-
BSN required
-
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

Proficiency with CRRT/CVVHD, hemodynamic monitoring, IABPs, and Impellas required

Experience caring for postoperative heart surgery patients (CABG/Valves) required
-
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Copies of certifications required for consideration

Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are accepted but at a different pay rate

Navy blue scrubs required
