About the Role:
Join Visiting Angels of Redlands as a Caregiver and make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors in our community. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals who are excited to provide personalized care and companionship.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning.
- Help with medication reminders and health monitoring.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to management.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- 6+ Months experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, assisting with transportation is an essential function of the job.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping others.
- Background check and references required.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
