On site visitation required- 2x monthly minimum.
Provides materials and curriculum that are engaging and age appropriate for students (K-6).
In person consultation on-site minimum 2x per month- required.
Regular and predictable attendance and presence at respective center is an essential requirement of position.
Provides learning experiences in the area of music guided by the NH state curriculum guidelines and district standards and requirements, while creating an environment that is conducive to a student’s learning and involvement.
Passion for teaching of musical concepts, materials, and instruments.
Encourage the growth of the student’s enjoyment, appreciation, and performance of music through a variety of planned music experiences including but not limited to singing, moving with music, playing of instruments, and listening.
Develops and administers music education curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction and student learning.
Conduct ongoing assessment of students musical learning and progress and modifies instructional methods to fit individual student’s needs.
Utilizes repertoire of all types of music literature, as appropriate.
Selects and requisitions appropriate music supplies and instrumental equipment, maintains inventory records, and ensures equipment is in good working order.
