Job Overview

Duties
- Lead and manage food service teams, including supervising staff, managing shifts, and fostering a positive team culture
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and consistency
- Implement and monitor sanitation procedures, food safety protocols, and compliance with health regulations
- Manage restaurant or catering operations, including inventory control, cost management, and POS (Point of Sale) systems utilization
- Coordinate with culinary staff on menu development, food production, and dietary requirements to meet diverse customer needs
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Supervise kitchen operations during peak hours, managing workflow to optimize efficiency and service speed
Requirements
- Proven management experience within the food industry, including supervising hospitality or restaurant teams
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and health regulations
- Experience with food service management systems (POS) and inventory control tools
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations such as cost control, budgeting, and revenue optimization
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences
- Previous experience in restaurant management or catering is highly desirable
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and service quality
