Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will work closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote positive behavioral changes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions using applied behavior analysis techniques to address challenging behaviors.
- Monitor client progress and make data-driven adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide training and support to staff, caregivers, and families on behavior management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with other professionals in the field of behavioral health, special education, and developmental disabilities to enhance patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- **Applicants must reside within 50 miles of the Georgia state border.**
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- A background in special education or related fields is a plus.
