Coral Canyon Joint & Spine Health is a patient-focused chiropractic and physical medicine office dedicated to helping individuals achieve optimal health through integrative, conservative, and restorative care. Our team provides chiropractic care, physical medicine, joint and trigger point injections, rehabilitation, and wellness services in a professional and compassionate environment.
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role involves direct patient interaction, clinical support for our Nurse Practitioner and chiropractic team, and ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and prepare them for appointments
- Record and monitor patient vitals (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, etc.)
- Assist the Nurse Practitioner with procedures including joint and trigger point injections
- Prep injection kits and treatment supplies as directed
- Ensure exam and treatment rooms are cleaned, sanitized, and stocked between patients
- Document patient information accurately in the EMR system
- Assist with patient education as directed by providers
- Support the chiropractic and physical medicine teams as needed
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor with patients and team members
- Help patients schedule out their treatment plans
- Explain treatment costs and insurance coverage to patients
- Patient intake and history
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or outpatient setting preferred (chiropractic or physical medicine experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
