American Traveler is hiring a CT/X-Ray Technologist for a night shift assignment performing both CT and radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging.

Hospital-based diagnostic imaging setting

Performs both CT scans and X-ray/fluoroscopic imaging
-
Night shift schedule working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights, varied 8-hour shifts
-
13-week assignment

Uses portable equipment, C-arm, hospital computer system, and PACS
-
State license required upon acceptance
-
License required if applicable
-
Proficiency operating radiographic, fluoroscopic, and CT equipment

Experience with C-arm and portable imaging equipment

Ability to adjust technical factors based on patient and body part while minimizing radiation exposure

Knowledge of radiation safety practices
-
Experience using hospital computer and PACS systems
-
Responsible for performing radiographs as requested by physicians and following radiation safety protocols

Assumes temporary patient care responsibility during X-ray procedures

Transports patients as needed

Performs clerical tasks in addition to imaging duties

Provides services that meet the psycho-social needs of the patient population served
