Position
We’re looking for a Sandwich & Salad Artisan to join our kitchen team. In this role, you’ll prep fresh ingredients and craft sandwiches, salads, and wraps to order in a fast-paced lunch environment.
The ideal candidate takes pride in quality and presentation while working efficiently and consistently during busy service.
Responsibilities
- Prep and portion fresh ingredients (produce, proteins, dressings, toppings)
- Craft sandwiches, salads, and wraps accurately and efficiently
- Follow recipes and build standards to ensure consistency
- Keep your station clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with dishwashing, restocking, and general kitchen support as needed
Speed & Consistency Expectations
This is a fast-paced, lunch-focused kitchen where timing and teamwork matter. While we take pride in crafting fresh, high-quality food, our guests rely on us for efficient, reliable service.
- Work with a sense of urgency during peak lunch hours while maintaining accuracy
- Follow established recipes and build standards for consistency
- Stay organized and prepared for service at all times
- Balance speed with presentation—food should be both quick and well-crafted
- Communicate clearly with team members to keep orders moving
- Understand that creativity is welcome, but consistency during service is essential
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work on your feet in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Works well as part of a small team
- Kitchen or food prep experience is a plus, but we will train the right person
Schedule
- Daytime hours aligned with lunch service
- Weekdays only (no weekends)
Compensation & Perks
- Pay: $16–$20 per hour (based on experience)
- Free or discounted shift meal
