Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Commercial Service Advisor to join our growing team in Milford, CT. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our commercial fleet and business clients, coordinating vehicle service and repairs while delivering an exceptional ownership experience. Duties
- Greet and consult with commercial fleet customers to understand their service needs and vehicle concerns.
- Write accurate and detailed repair orders, ensuring all work is properly documented and authorized.
- Coordinate with technicians and shop foreman to schedule and prioritize commercial vehicle repairs.
- Provide customers with timely updates on vehicle status, estimated completion times, and repair costs.
- Review and explain completed repair orders, parts, labor, and warranty coverage to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial fleet accounts and business clients.
- Identify additional service needs and recommend preventive maintenance solutions.
- Accurately process payments, invoices, and warranty claims.
- Meet and exceed individual CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) and service department revenue goals.
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure availability of needed components.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive service advisor, preferably in a commercial or fleet environment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, service operations, and repair processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple repair orders and client interactions simultaneously.
- Proficiency with dealer management systems (DMS).
- Valid Connecticut driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive or technical coursework a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience servicing commercial trucks, vans, or fleet vehicles.
- Familiarity with manufacturer warranty processes and procedures.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $60,000 – $80,000 per year, based on experience and performance.
