Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience within a school environment (K-12 preferred)
- Strong ability to tailor assessments and interventions to diverse student needs
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ progress
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist in planning student support strategies
- Educate staff and families on communication strategies and student accommodations
- Stay current with best practices in school-based speech and language services
