About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Field Technician to join our national installation and maintenance team. You will play a critical role in the lifecycle of complex industrial machinery, ensuring that equipment is expertly installed, serviced, and optimized to maximize operational uptime for our clients.
Responsibilities-
Execute the full lifecycle of mechanical equipment projects, including rigging, precision installation, disassembly, and relocation.

Interpret complex engineered drawings and schematics to ensure accurate equipment placement and commissioning.

Perform comprehensive troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments to identify and resolve machinery malfunctions.

Conduct proactive preventive maintenance, including lubrication, alignment, and component replacement, to prevent unplanned downtime.

Support infrastructure upgrades by fabricating and installing mechanical utility systems, including compressed air and water piping.

Operate specialized heavy rigging equipment, such as Versa-lifts, industrial forklifts, and overhead cranes, with a focus on site safety.

Document disassembly and reassembly procedures to ensure seamless project transitions and knowledge transfer.

Manage site logistics, including palletizing equipment and loading specialty trailers for interstate transport.

High school diploma or GED; technical certification in a mechanical trade is highly preferred.

2-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing or field service.

Proven ability to travel 100% of the time to support nationwide project sites.

Foundational knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting.

Ability to maintain a reliable personal vehicle for travel and provide basic hand tools.

Expertise in industrial plastic extrusion and thermoforming equipment, including specific experience with extruders and feed systems.

Advanced proficiency in operating specialized rigging robots and carry-deck cranes.

Familiarity with safety protocols regarding radioactive sources in production equipment.

Strong critical thinking skills with a focus on complex problem-solving in fast-paced field environments.
