Position Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing.
- Repair and replace engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, electrical, air, and cooling system components.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Maintain detailed service records and repair documentation.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of diesel mechanic experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty diesel engines and truck systems.
- Experience with diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and major repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals and repair procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus but not required.
- Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and committed to quality workmanship.
