DQS is hiring dependable and safety-focused Security Guard Associates for a busy operation. If you enjoy working independently, staying active, and maintaining a safe environment, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do as a Security Guard:
- Patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure and safe environment
- Conduct routine security checks throughout the location
- Monitor compliance with site safety procedures and report concerns
- Verify identification and authorize access to designated areas
- Document and report incidents, suspicious activity, or safety concerns to management and local law enforcement when necessary
- Collect and manage vehicle keys throughout the yard (this is a primary responsibility of the role)
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements for Security Guard:
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for use during work hours
- Previous security, yard operations, or related experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to walk, stand, and work outdoors for extended periods
Available Shifts for Security Guards:
A Shift: Sunday–Tuesday, 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM, and Wednesday, 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM
B Shift: Sunday–Tuesday, 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM, and Wednesday, 6:30 PM – 12:30 AM
C Shift: Wednesday, 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM, and Thursday–Saturday, 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
D Shift: Wednesday, 12:30 AM – 6:30 AM, and Thursday–Saturday, 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
