The Local Driver is expected to provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation to our customers with the use of company provided semi-trucks.
This position will primarily consist of local delivery operations involving positioning and moving trucks and trailers on and between various facilities. On occasion, the deliveries will be required throughout the region.
- Operate company-owned trucks to facilitate local deliveries
- Maintain all required certification required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
- Ensure proper documentation of all deliveries
- Perform standard maintenance of all trucks and equipment
- Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition
- Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations
- Promote Sourdough’s Vision, Mission, and Culture statements
- Other duties as assigned
