AGE of Central Texas is looking for an Activity Director for the Round Rock Thrive Social and Wellness Center in Round Rock, TX. No nights, no weekends, no on-call!
The Thrive Social and Wellness Centers are daytime care facilities for older adults living with dementia or other challenges of aging. Our Round Rock location is looking for positive, energetic people to join our team in caring for our wonderful members (older adults, elderly clients, or persons living with dementia or special needs).
The Activity Director is in charge of creating and overseeing engaging programs that bring joy, connection, and purpose to our members. They plan and coordinate activities that promote social interaction, creativity, and wellness while ensuring each person feels valued and included.
This position is also ideal for a Recreation Therapist who has experience working with older adults.

In addition to a high school diploma, candidates must meet one of the following required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and one year of full-time experience working with elderly people or people with disabilities in a human service or medically related program; or
- 60 college hours and two years of full-time experience working with elderly people or people with disabilities in a human service or medically related program; or
- successful completion of an activity director's course and two years of full-time experience working with elderly people or people with disabilities in a human service or medically related program.
