Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Furniture Install Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise installation of commercial furniture and fixtures across various client sites. Your expertise will ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install furniture, fixtures, and related components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively to assemble and install commercial furniture according to specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for the transportation, positioning, and securing of furniture pieces on-site.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and resolve any onsite challenges promptly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to power tool safety protocols and construction site safety standards.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including installation reports, site logs, and safety checklists.
Requirements
- Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools.
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices including power tool safety and heavy lifting procedures.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting.
- Excellent communication skills to interpret technical instructions clearly and work effectively within a team environment.
- Valid certifications in construction safety or relevant trade skills are preferred but not mandatory.
