Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Silk Screen Printer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality printed apparel using a manual screen printing press. This role requires a keen eye for detail, pride in their finished work and the ability to work collaboratively with our group to bring their visions to life.
Duties
- Set up and operate screen printing manual press to produce designs on various materials.
- Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Prepare screens, inks, and substrates for printing processes.
- Monitor the printing process to ensure quality standards are met, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain equipment and workspace in a clean and organized manner.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the printing process.
- Assist in the development of new techniques and processes to enhance production efficiency.
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical skills and artistic flair. Preferred experience includes:
- Proficiency in utilizing a manual silk screen press.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Open to working overtime hours as needed to ensure clients deadlines are met.
