Position Summary: The Warehouse Operator assists the Warehouse team in shipping, receiving, and transfers of product and raw materials, as well as perform inventory control. The Warehouse Operators ensure orders are selected and loaded for customer delivery efficiently and maintain high standards of quality in every aspect of the job and plays a key role in driving the company's high-volume needs and quality expectations. This role will also assist with constructing variety packs for distribution.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a team-oriented and Safety-First culture by maintaining a safe, secure, clean, and organized work environment within the warehouse at all times
- Assist shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
- Utilize a lift truck to safely maneuver product in/out of trucks and throughout the warehouse
- Document orders for distribution, ensuring product is rotated properly, safely, and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory by reviewing physical inventory and comparing it digitally
- Use and uphold the First In First Out (FIFO) method for product rotation to ensure product freshness for customers
- Communicate shortages and out-of-stock items to supervisor for reallocation or rescheduling
- Assist in the construction of variety packs for distribution
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, 1-2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior forklift experience
- Ability to work in various weather conditions due to indoor and outdoor work duties
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Good time management skills and ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
- Proven organizational skills, record keeping, and effective document management
- Experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and understanding of safety and warehouse standards

- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Occasionally required to use taste and smell senses
- Frequently required to use computers, standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers, and drive a forklift
While performing the duties of the job, the employee works in a warehouse environment around machinery and moving forklifts, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The work environment is fast-paced and demanding. Employees must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
