What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, commuters, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout platforms, stations, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to access points and restricted areas.

Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, helping to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.

Carry authorized equipment in accordance with post orders and applicable guidelines, and support security-related response activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

A Law Enforcement Officer License is required.

An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
