Human Resources Assistant
The HR Assistant supports the HR Supervisor with full-cycle recruiting efforts while also assisting with general HR and administrative functions. This role is primarily focused on talent acquisition and plays a key part in creating a positive candidate and employee experience. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
HR & Administrative Support
- Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork
- Maintain employee files and HR documentation
- Provide general HR and administrative support
- Respond to routine employee inquiries and support HR projects as needed
Recruiting
- Manage the recruitment process from job posting through hire
- Source, review, and screen candidates
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Maintain applicant tracking and recruiting records
- Assist with offer letters, background checks, and pre-employment steps
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Recruiting and/or HR
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and professionalism
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
