Nursery Production Worker
We are seeking dependable, energetic individuals to join our wholesale nursery production team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with plants, staying active, and being part of a team.
No previous nursery or greenhouse experience is required — we will train the right candidates.
Job Responsibilities
Nursery Production Workers assist with the day-to-day production and care of plants throughout our greenhouse and growing areas. Responsibilities include:
- Planting and transplanting plant material
- Loading, unloading, and moving plants and trays
- Transferring plants from carts to growing beds and designated greenhouse areas
- Watering and general plant care
- Weeding and maintaining clean production areas
- Organizing and moving plant material throughout the nursery
- Assisting with other greenhouse and nursery production tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
This is an active, physical position that involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working with plants throughout the day. Work may take place both inside greenhouses and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Successful candidates should:
- Be dependable and arrive ready to work
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Work well as part of a team
- Be comfortable performing physically demanding work
- Be willing to work in hot, cold, and humid conditions
- Be willing and able to work overtime and occasional weekends as production needs require
- Be willing to learn and follow instructions
Previous greenhouse, nursery, landscaping, agricultural, or horticultural experience is helpful but not required.
