Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating sales opportunities, nurturing customer relationships, and ensuring a smooth sales process from inquiry to order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development: Proactively identify and generate new sales leads through outbound calls, email campaigns, and inbound customer inquiries.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Conducts detailed analyses of customer specifications, drawings, and requirements to better understanding their needs and offering tailored product solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and manufacturing capabilities to effectively present solutions to customers.
- Quotations: Partners with engineering and management to prepare detailed quotations and technical proposals in response to customer inquiries and requests for quote (RFQs).
- Order Management: Assist customers with product selection, pricing, order details, and ensure timely processing of orders.
- Sales Quotation & Negotiation: Prepare and send accurate quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, and close sales deals in alignment with company policies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any customer issues or concerns.
- CRM Management: Track customer interactions, sales activities, and progress through a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Market Research: Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs to identify sales opportunities and improve product offerings.
- Sales Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities, opportunities, and results to management and suggest strategies to meet sales goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product offerings.
- Intermediate math skills required and ability to read blueprints preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and engage with customers effectively.
- Results-oriented with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- A proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- 2+ years of inside sales or customer service experience, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
