Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service. As a Medical Assistant, you will support our clinical staff by performing both administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.
Duties
- Assist healthcare provider with patient intake, prescription refills, and orders
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by physician.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Provide medical administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience in patient service with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Great work ethics
