We are looking for a motivated, detailed oriented Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager for a Long Island based HVAC contractor. Experience in construction and HVAC industry is preferred. This is an entry to mid-level position depending on experience. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. There is room for growth within the company based upon performance.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)
- Coordinating with the design team on projects
- Procurement of construction materials
- Following up with vendors when material is ordered
- Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks
- Conduct site visits to review progress
- Working with and coordinate Sub-Contractors
- Punch List Management
- Address changes with drafting and field labor
- Estimating Change Orders
Qualifications:
- Experience with reading and understanding mechanical drawings is important
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred
- Knowledge of the following programs is preferred: Blue Beam, Procore, AutoCAD, Word & Excel
- Strong leadership skills

- Some travel required into the 5 Boroughs and Long Island
